Weekly {Snapshots}

This is Hannah the morning of school pictures. This little sassy pose was all her!
She is such a little drama diva.  Everyday, with out fail, she will say something that makes
Todd and I look at each other and say "oh no, we're in trouble"! She is definitely 4 going on 18!
For example, tonight on the way home from choir she said (in her valley girl voice),
"I, like, love him, but I'm totally not his friend."
OH MY!
Todd insists she has learned this drama from me as she was quite the introvert when we first met her.
I'm sure that's, like, not far from the truth. **tosses hair** I know, right?

Katie Grace turns 10 months old this month!  ugh. Where has the time gone.
She was just a little 10 pound 3 month old yesterday!
At 10 months old she:
*Says dada *Crawls all.over.the.place!!! *Pulls up on things and tries to stand on her own. *Plays pattycake *waves hi and bye *blow zerberts *picks up her own food and drinks from a sippy *LOVES french fries *screams for a cookie and balloon everytime we go in Publix (seriously, she won't shutup untilshe gets both!) •Sleeps all night *takes a morning and afternoon nap *squeals when mommy or daddy walks in the room *loves church nursery *understands what no-no means *LOVES to play with Hannah *knows her name and responds to it *will.not.say.momma (ugh. when you ask her to momma she looks at you, grins and says dada. Like she knows she's being funny!)
*is S.P.O.I.L.E.D.

Birthday Fun!

I'm so thankful to see our girls grow up with my best friends kids!
Xander, my best friend's oldest, turned 7 last week and we celebrated him at the bowling alley. It was a great party and Hannah was an excellent bowler!

We got Xander a Darth Vader Alarm Clock, which he loved!
Although, Hannah though we should get him a Strawberry Shortcake toy! :)

Hannah is a great bowler! There were a lot of kids and noise going on,
but Hannah was surprisingly calm. She was seriously concentrating on bowling!

This past Thursday was Hannah's day to bring a snack to her class. It was B week and they were talking about Butterflies.

It's so simple, inexpensive and quick! Hannah was so excited to share with her friends and was proud of her snack!

Quick Trip To Destin

We planned a trip to Destin fro the weekend. Mom moved to Destin and needed some help getting some things over there. We loaded the back of our van and took some things for her.
Our plan was to stay the whole weekend, but the plans got interrupted by a Tropical Storm looming off the shore and the Foster Child that has been placed with us was being removed. So, it turned out to be an overnight trip.
It was still fun and we were able to introduce Hannah and Katie Grace to some more of our family.

A Loving Daddy

Todd is such a great daddy. He is so gentle, yet firm, with the girls. I had to catch this moment of Hannah being reprimanded by Daddy. He has a way of speaking to her that melts my heart. When he is finished she knows she better shape up her attitude and yet never has to doubt his love for her!

Katie Grace's Favorite

For the record, this is Gracie's favorite rattler! She got it in a birthday favor bag when we went to a friends birthday party.

I keep little boxes in the car next to the kids carseats. They are allowed to keep quiet toys in their box to play with in the car. I leave Gracie's rattler in her box in the car. She gets so excited every time we hand it to her!
