My photo
I'm married to my best friend, who happens to be a police officer and an amazing Handy Man, and together we have adopted 3 beautiful girls out of Foster Care. I'm enjoying the path God has sent us down. It's an extraordinary path of Infertility, Foster Care and Adoption. It hasn't always been easy, but at each milestone we look back and know it has always been worth it!

We've Doubled

Todd and I accepted a foster care placement this past week.
If you star seeing these little "stars" that's who they are! Little Guy is 16mo and Big Guy is 4.
Hannah is handling the transition well. This is the first placement we have accepted since G-man went back home a couple months ago. Her Bible verse last month was Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind and loving to each other". We talked to her about how God wants us to be kind and loving to those who are in need. We talked about how blessed she is to have a bed, house, clothes... and some do not. We made sure she was VERY aware that although these little guys stay is temporary, she will never leave our house and we are her parents forever. She looked at me as I explained this and said (in her "I think I'm a teenager" voice) "Duh Mommy!"
Ok, Hannah. Glad we have that cleared up! :)
